## Description

The Nexus Resource Platform is a global knowledge hub focused on the Water, Energy, Food and Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus. It helps practitioners, researchers, policymakers and planners understand how these interconnected systems can be managed together to improve resource security while preserving ecosystems. By sharing knowledge that supports collaboration across sectors, the platform aims to strengthen synergies and reduce trade-offs for current and future generations.

Its knowledge hub brings together publications, books, videos, policy papers, tools, databases, educational materials, courses and implementation case studies. Visitors can also access training resources, online courses and webinars designed to turn Nexus thinking into practical action. The platform features news and events, alongside projects and regional dialogues covering Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, the MENA region, the Niger Basin and Southern Africa. Other initiatives include the FREXUS Project and work on water resources in Lake Kivu and the Ruzizi River. Through these resources and activities, the Nexus Resource Platform connects knowledge with practice and supports more integrated approaches to water, energy, food and ecosystem challenges.
