WatercoloursWA, founded in 1980 in Perth, Western Australia, is dedicated to promoting public interest in watercolours and advancing the knowledge of its members in watercolour painting. The society has grown into a strong body of passionate watercolourists committed to the pursuit of their chosen media, with Dr Ken Michael AC serving as their esteemed Patron. Regular exhibitions of members' work are held throughout the year, including the highly anticipated annual Exhibition for Prizes and Awards. Membership is by juried admission, and the society meets every third Tuesday morning of the month at the John McGrath Pavilion in South Perth. For aspiring members and those seeking watercolour lessons or workshops, the society offers guidance and resources.
