## Description

Wassersportfreunde auf vier Pfoten e.V. (WavP) is a nonprofit dog-sport club dedicated to water work with dogs. Founded in 2013, the club trains at its grounds in Oldendorf near Hermannsburg, in the Lüneburg Heath district of Celle, Lower Saxony. It is affiliated with the German Dog Sports Association (DVG) and the German Kennel Club (VDH), placing it within organized dog sports.

WavP presents water work as a versatile, species-appropriate activity that lets dogs use their natural abilities while developing physical strength and mental focus. The water provides suitable conditions for large, heavy breeds such as Landseers and Newfoundland dogs to exercise their strength and endurance. Smaller fishing dogs and other dogs that enjoy the water can also take part. The club’s website shares information about its training, dog-and-handler teams, news, and scheduled events, giving visitors an overview of its activities and community life. WavP welcomes inquiries from people interested in learning more about the club and its water-work training.
