# Wavy Woods - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `wavywoods.com` ## Description Wavy Woods is a Northern Ireland Forest and Beach School offering child-led outdoor learning designed to support children’s confidence and wellbeing. Created to give children more time and freedom to move, explore and connect with nature, the organisation provides practical outdoor experiences for families, schools and community partners. Sessions are led by experienced Forest School practitioners and take place in Belfast, Bangor and forests and beaches across Northern Ireland. For families, Wavy Woods runs weekly Forest School clubs, birthday parties, seasonal family days and holiday camps. Schools can book curriculum-linked Forest and Beach School sessions during the school day or through after-school programmes. Community partners can work with Wavy Woods on holiday programmes and festival sessions. The organisation also supports groups developing or delivering their own Forest or Beach School programmes, with services including programme delivery, site reviews, setup guidance and staff training.
