## Description

Waxy Design Studio is a creative studio specializing in decorative lighting. Based in Istanbul, it transforms light into sculptural elements through signature collections and fully bespoke commissions. Its services include site-specific lighting installations, custom design and production for individual projects, and ready-to-specify collections. The studio works from design through fabrication, combining creative practice with handcraft and local manufacturing at Bahar Lighting’s facilities in Turkey. Its collections include Ivy, Relic, and Talash, with designs inspired by architectural forms, ancient structures, and material details such as brass shavings. Bespoke and installation projects include hospitality settings, with featured work at Waldorf Astoria Maldives, JW Marriott Hotel in Istanbul, and Four Seasons Hotel in Sultanahmet. Installation examples include Falling in Love, DNA of Light, and Textured Chips, shown in locations including Istanbul and Doha. Waxy presents its work through collections, bespoke projects, and installations, and invites clients to get in touch to discuss a tailored lighting project.
