## Description

The Great Wayne County Fair is an annual community fair presented by the Union Agricultural Society in Palmyra, New York. Established in 1856, it is a longstanding local tradition focused on agriculture, industry, youth, and community involvement. Its mission is to educate and encourage participation while recognizing emerging and established leaders through competitive entries and wholesome activities.

The fair offers admission and booster passes, grandstand tickets, entertainment, and scheduled events, including a demolition derby. Visitors can find exhibitor and entry information in the fair book, explore vendor opportunities, and arrange camping or grounds rentals. The organization also provides sponsorship and partnership opportunities, volunteer and employment information, and facilities for weddings and private events. Beyond fair week, its community initiatives include the Buy a Brick program and the Read to Win Library Program, alongside merchandise and community partnerships. The fair shares schedules, event updates, and ticket information through its website and social media, and invites people to join its mailing list for news and discounts.
