## Description

WBE Broek & Duin is a Dutch wildlife management unit serving an area between ’s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg and Waalwijk. Formed in 1993 through the merger of two local wildlife management units, it adopted the name of the former Broek en Duin Roe Deer Association. The organisation has more than 100 members and coordinates work across an area of over 12,500 hectares, including built-up areas. Its territory is divided into 60 hunting grounds, around 70% of which is available for hunting. Hunting does not take place in the Loonse en Drunense Duinen, an area owned by the nature organisation Natuurmonumenten.

WBE Broek & Duin presents wildlife management as part of nature conservation and promotes cooperation among hunters, land users and other interested parties. Its activities include supporting planned wildlife management and addressing damage caused by wildlife in line with provincial policy and applicable nature-protection legislation. The organisation’s website provides information about its work area, membership, activities, wildlife, damage procedures and road casualties, as well as guidance for people interested in becoming hunters.
