## Description

The World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS) is an international platform for professionals exploring floating infrastructure and its role in sustainable urban development. Its fifth conference, WCFS 2025, is scheduled for 1–3 September in Espoo, Finland, under the theme “Floating Solutions for Sustainable Urban Waterfront Development and the Blue Economy.” Hosted by Bluet Floating Solutions and organised with the Society of Floating Solutions (Singapore), VTT, Aalto University and other partners, the event brings together architects, engineers, planners, investors, researchers, policymakers and industry specialists.

WCFS offers academic sessions, keynote presentations, panel discussions, project showcases and networking opportunities across topics including floating urban development, waterfront infrastructure, offshore renewable energy, climate resilience, environmental impact, blue-economy opportunities and marine planning. New for 2025, its Business Forum features investor perspectives, company and project presentations, and live discussions with industry leaders. Registered participants can also use a B2match platform to arrange one-to-one meetings. Conference proceedings are intended to be published publicly, extending the exchange of ideas beyond the event.
