## Description

WCNY, the home of The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! is an engaging and award-winning brand that aims to ignite a passion for learning and a curiosity about science and math in preschool-aged children. Join the Cat in the Hat, Sally, and Nick on exciting science adventures as they explore everything from the wonders of a bee hive and how honey is made to bird migration and the intricate relationship animals have with flowers. With the Cat as their guide, children are encouraged to ask questions, make observations, and discover how the world works through science inquiry. In addition to the TV program, WCNY offers a fantastic website filled with interactive games, videos, apps, and more. Play games like The Swirly Whirly Pearl Hunt, Welcome to Beaver City, and Cat's Math Safari. Engage in print activities, watch videos, and even embark on a math safari. The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! airs weekdays at 3:00 p.m. At WCNY, we strive to connect with curious minds of all ages through innovative content, educational programs, and transformative experiences that inspire change. Join us to open minds and spark excitement for the world around us.
