## Description

The World Directory of Medical Schools, a collaboration between the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), aims to provide an inclusive listing of medical schools worldwide. With a focus on accuracy and up-to-date information, this directory replaces the IMED and Avicenna directories, offering a comprehensive resource for aspiring medical professionals. WFME, dedicated to advancing medical education globally, sets high standards for quality and ethics in medical training. FAIMER, as a non-profit organization, supports health professions through fellowship programs and research initiatives, fostering excellence in education and accreditation. This partnership benefits educators, researchers, regulators, and policymakers in the health sector. For inquiries about the World Directory, reach out to the respective organizations directly. Stay informed with the latest updates from the World Federation for Medical Education and FAIMER.
