# Weak Ends - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `weakends.ch` ## Description Weak Ends (WE) is a public-benefit foundation established in November 2019. Based in Breganzona, it supports projects and initiatives in education, social welfare and culture. Its aim is to foster personal and social well-being, integration and community participation, with a particular focus on initiatives connected to the Canton of Ticino. Requests relating to other areas may be considered in exceptional cases. Individuals and organizations can apply for financial support by submitting a proposal that fits the foundation’s statutory purpose. Applications are reviewed by a seven-member Foundation Council, which makes funding decisions three times a year. Submissions are due by January 31, April 30 or September 30 and must explain the project, intended use of funds, requested amount and any other sources of support. Supporting documents vary according to whether the applicant is an individual or an organization. Weak Ends also welcomes donations, which are tax-deductible.
