## Description

Affective is an app strategy, research, and design agency that helps organisations make better decisions before development begins. Its work is built around the belief that successful apps need more than attractive screens: they need clear requirements, a genuine understanding of users, and a practical plan for launch. The agency provides behavioural research to uncover why people use or abandon apps, alongside psychology-driven UX and UI design measured against emotional factors such as trust, delight, anxiety, confusion, and pride.

Affective’s services include app planning and strategy, user experience and interface design, design systems, technical architecture, technology recommendations, and developer-ready specifications. It also audits existing apps and advises clients on cost-effective, lower-risk routes to market, including choosing an appropriate development team or approach. The agency does not write the app’s code, allowing clients to select their own developers, agencies, freelancers, or AI tools. Engagements typically take eight to twelve weeks, depending on scope.
