Diversity and addressing the wage gap are important topics that we discuss. Founded by Ali Carr in 2017, Basecamp started as a small but passionate group of 200 individuals from the outdoor industry. Ali leveraged her experience as an editor at Outside magazine to bring Basecamp to life. Since then, we have connected countless candidates with exceptional outdoor opportunities all over the world, leading to hundreds of successful hires within the industry. Basecamp is proud to be mission-driven, bootstrapped, and profitable. As a female-founded and led brand, we are powered by our vibrant community.
