## Description

Touching is a brand that represents the artistic work of songwriter and producer Michael Falk. Based in Winnipeg, Falk is a multi-talented musician who has been involved in various aspects of the local music scene. He has organized festivals, operated a studio, and run a record label, showcasing his dedication to the industry. Despite his numerous roles, Falk has now redirected his focus to his passion for creating music. Touching released its debut album, Isolation Blues, in the spring of 2020, a collection of 10 songs that captured the mood of loneliness and disconnection during the pandemic. Following its success, Touching's sophomore album, littleworlds, was released, featuring 12 songs that explore themes of hope, joy, and the anxieties of parenthood. Falk's rich baritone voice, reminiscent of Scott Hutchison from Frightened Rabbit, adds emotional depth to the album, while the music combines electronic ambience with indie-rock influences. Touching's music promises a lighter, more connected future, embracing self-fulfillment and meaningful living.
