## Description

Weathercop is a weather-triggered marketing platform for Shopify stores that helps brands align email campaigns with the forecast in each customer’s city. Designed to work with Klaviyo, it connects local weather conditions to relevant products, enabling timely messages when customers may be more likely to need them. For example, a rain forecast can prompt a campaign featuring waterproof jackets, while high UV or hot weather can trigger promotions for sun protection and cooling products.

Merchants can choose built-in scenarios such as rain, snow, hot and sunny conditions, or create custom thresholds for temperature, precipitation, snowfall, UV index, wind, humidity, and other weather conditions. They select products from their Shopify catalog, then use Weathercop events—including the customer’s city, forecast, and chosen products—to build branded email flows in Klaviyo. Weathercop checks forecasts daily and sends an event when set conditions are met, with cooldowns to limit repeated messages. The service includes Shopify customer and consent syncing, city coverage confirmation during onboarding, and supported beta onboarding.
