## Description

**WEAVE** is an innovative project dedicated to enhancing access to the cultural heritage of diverse communities across Europe through the Europeana platform. Its mission is to connect both tangible and intangible heritage, preserving and promoting invaluable cultural resources. The project aims to aggregate over 5,000 high-quality records, showcasing these collections through engaging editorials and virtual exhibitions. WEAVE fosters collaboration between Cultural Heritage Institutions (CHIs) and minority communities, enhancing their capacity to engage with European digital heritage.

To advance its goals, WEAVE develops a suite of open tools for managing annotations, automating gesture recognition, and visualizing performances and 3D models. With a well-rounded consortium of partners that include cultural community representatives, technology providers, and academic institutions, WEAVE encompasses expertise across the entirety of the cultural heritage spectrum. By establishing connections within local and international networks, WEAVE amplifies project outreach and community engagement, ensuring that cultural narratives are preserved and celebrated.
