## Description

Silk is an interactive generative art experience that lets visitors create flowing, symmetrical images directly in their browser. Designed by Yuri Vishnevsky, it turns simple gestures into intricate, silk-like patterns: users can drag colors to blend them, experiment with different colors and symmetry settings, and build designs that spiral toward the center. Controls allow creators to undo or redo actions, start a new drawing, save an image, and share their artwork. The experience is accompanied by music and sound crafted by Mat Jarvis, adding an atmospheric element to the creative process. Silk is presented as an accessible digital art tool rather than a conventional art store or service, inviting people to explore visual patterns through play. Artwork shared through Silk is licensed under Creative Commons, and the site encourages users to try different combinations and share their creations. Its focus is on spontaneous, browser-based creativity, offering a simple way to make and preserve distinctive generative designs.
