## Description

Webastro is a French nonprofit association and online community dedicated to astronomy, especially amateur astronomy. Designed for everyone interested in the night sky, from beginners to experienced observers, it offers an active forum for asking questions, sharing observations and discussing equipment and techniques. Its educational resource, Noctua, provides tutorials, practical advice and articles on topics including observation, astrophotography, astronomy software, equipment and hands-on projects. Members can use Constellia to record and share astronomical photographs and drawings, linked with details about objects, equipment and discussions. Webastro also offers sky-planning tools, ephemerides, weather information, celestial event listings and astronomy news. Its community directory helps users find astronomy clubs, associations, observatories, planetariums, museums and astronomy-focused accommodation. A classified section enables members to buy and sell telescopes, mounts, eyepieces, cameras and other observing accessories. The site additionally features an events calendar, employment listings related to astronomy and space, and a media library. Through these resources and member contributions, Webastro supports learning, observation and connection among astronomy enthusiasts.
