## Description

WEBO1945 is the website and collecting project of Ivan Rollinger, a long-time collector of U.S. military memorabilia. It preserves the history of the 1945 liberation of western and southwestern Bohemia, with particular attention to the U.S. Army’s 2nd Infantry Division, known as the “Indianhead” Division, and postwar UNRRA assistance in Czechoslovakia. Through collection records, research, objects, and memories, the site documents people and events connected with the region.

WEBO1945 features blog articles and displays from collections of original military items, photographs, documents, insignia, medals, uniforms, and other artifacts. Its online shop offers original U.S. military memorabilia, reproductions, and new or second-hand books and publications on liberation history. The site also covers exhibitions, loans, commemorative activities, and collector exchanges. A dedicated dog tag service stamps identification tags using military stamping machines, with options based on historical U.S. Army periods or a customer’s own design. WEBO1945 brings together historical education, collecting, publishing, and practical services for people interested in the U.S. Army and the history of 1945 in Bohemia.
