## Description

Web We Want is a global initiative under the World Wide Web Foundation dedicated to shaping and safeguarding the future of the internet. The organization believes in the importance of a free and open web, advocating for privacy, security, and net neutrality. Their efforts aim to empower individuals and communities to take an active role in protecting their online rights.

Web We Want offers a range of services and resources, including grants, policy advice, and toolkits designed to foster fast internet access across Africa through the #FASTAfrica campaign. They engage in discussions around critical internet topics such as digital privacy, online gender-based violence, and the implications of web monitoring. Through events, newsletters, and social media campaigns, they rally support for ensuring that the web remains a safe and accessible space for everyone.

By fostering collaboration among funders, members, and community advocates, Web We Want aspires to create a more equitable digital landscape for current and future generations.
