Our goal is to introduce a methodology that helps entrepreneurs and businesses generate ideas or test their existing ideas, thus reducing the risks associated with their projects. Our dream is to enhance the discovery of tools that empower individuals to collaboratively utilize creativity, innovation, and an experimental mindset to solve problems and challenges, ultimately contributing towards a better world. The journey of WeCount began in January 2014, when Teresa established the company to assist entrepreneurs in the realm of people and team management for their projects. In March 2015, Teresa met searchFormia, a member of the "João Sem Medo" community, who possessed expertise in Design Thinking. Joining forces, they organized and facilitated two prototype Design Thinking workshops. From there, the team iterated on the initial workshop design, incorporating feedback and conducting regular workshops throughout July 2015. With mentorship from Marco Abreu, co-founder of João Sem Medo, the project evolved, and in January 2016, Cecilia Cóccola joined the team, contributing significantly to co-create and restructure their offerings and internal processes. By May 2016, WeCount celebrated its first anniversary, having organized and facilitated 30 workshops with over 400 participants, who learned through hands-on experience with Design Thinking methodology. In July 2016, WeCount transitioned from DTeams and welcomed Sofia and Teresa as active collaborators. In April 2017, after a brief absence, Bárbara Barbedo returned, and with the assistance of Filipa Santos and her project "De Dentro Para Fora - Design Social," they reevaluated the direction of WeCount. In October 2017, Sofia embarked on new projects, leaving Bárbara and Teresa as the active collaborators of WeCount.
