WE.org is a brand that believes in making a positive impact on the world. For the past 25 years, WE has been empowering youth by giving them a platform to raise their voices and create change. It all began when 12-year-old Craig Kielburger read about Iqbal Masih, a child laborer who was murdered for advocating for children's rights. Inspired by Iqbal's story, Craig rallied other youth to join his cause, proving that young people can make a significant difference. Today, WE is a global movement that partners with communities to break the cycle of poverty. One of WE's initiatives is WE Villages, where they celebrate stories of impact and work in equal partnership with communities around the world. They also prioritize equity, diversity, and inclusion through their WE Schools and WE Teachers programming. These free resources provide educators with the tools they need to create a more inclusive and understanding environment for their students. WE also hosts WE Day events, where renowned leaders and activists share their experiences and campaigns for anti-racism and diversity. In addition, WE offers the WE Virtual Learning Center, a free resource library for teachers to enhance their capacity in the classroom. Their focus is on service-learning, trauma-informed practice, and overall well-being. WE believes in inspiring young people, supporting educators, and promoting well-being for all.
