## Description

Katrin Lohe is a freelance wedding celebrant based in Berlin, offering personalised ceremonies in and around the city. She helps couples create a meaningful alternative to a civil-only or church wedding, celebrating their commitment at a location that matters to them, from special venues to their chosen dream setting. Ceremonies can be conducted in German, English, or bilingually.

Her service centres on each couple’s story, wishes, and relationship. Through an introductory meeting and an in-depth planning session, Katrin learns about the couple and gathers personal details through separate questionnaires. She uses these stories to write an individual speech and can incorporate family and friends’ contributions, as well as personal vows and ceremony rituals. Couples review the arrangements together before the wedding, with room to discuss special requests and last-minute changes.

On the wedding day, Katrin arrives early to prepare the ceremony setting, coordinate with other suppliers, and reassure guests and participants. Her approach aims to blend heartfelt, romantic moments with warmth and humour, while guiding couples calmly through their ceremony.
