## Description

Weird Maps is an independent project dedicated to documenting Ireland’s paranormal places and unexplained events. Founded by Laura, an Irish paranormal archivist, the brand combines years of research with cartographic and graphic design expertise to make unusual stories easier to explore. Its Ireland Unveiled interactive map features more than 800 locations across the country, covering hauntings, UFO encounters, cryptid sightings, witchcraft, ancient sites and other mysteries.

Each entry is researched using sources such as books, newspapers, journals and databases, then distilled into concise, referenced notes. The map helps users see where reported events occurred, filter locations by phenomenon, save places of interest and mark sites they have visited. It is designed for both dedicated paranormal researchers and curious visitors planning to explore Ireland.

Weird Maps offers access to its map through an app and also provides a free Haunted Derry walking guide, along with blog content and email updates. Printed map products are planned for the future.
