Description
Weiss Scholarship Foundation is dedicated to empowering children in Dago, Kenya by providing them with access to quality education through child education sponsorship. With a mission to create a world where every child has the opportunity for a better education, the foundation envisions a future where children can improve lives and pass on a legacy of enrichment and hope. By offering scholarships to children who would otherwise be unable to afford an education, Weiss Scholarship Foundation is making a significant impact on their lives and the entire village.
The foundation offers various sponsorship options that allow donors to contribute at different levels, ranging from supporting a student's high school expenses for four years to providing school uniforms, books, mattresses, supplies, medical insurance, and activity fees. To date, the foundation has awarded 182 scholarships, with 101 students currently in high school and 4 students having already graduated from university. Through their holistic business model, the foundation has achieved remarkable results, doubling the number of high school graduates in Dago and improving the average KCPE score by 40%.
Meet some of the inspiring students who have benefited from the foundation's support, such as Christine, who is studying at Elmhurst University in the United States with dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon, Gerald, who aspires to become a professor, Brian, who hopes to become a doctor, and Juliet, who aims to be a nurse. By supporting Weiss Scholarship Foundation, donors have the opportunity to make a life-changing difference in the lives of these children and the community as a whole
