Welsh NHS Confederation is the only national membership body that represents all the organizations within the NHS in Wales. They are part of the NHS Confederation and host NHS Wales Employers. Their aim is to support their members by driving positive change through strong representation, system leadership, and proactive policy, influencing, communications, events, and engagement work.

Their members include the seven local health boards, three NHS trusts, Health Education and Improvement Wales, and Digital Health and Care Wales. Welsh NHS Confederation plays a crucial role in political engagement, the Health and Wellbeing Alliance, and promoting the health and wellbeing of the population in Wales. They have recently released their 2022/23 Impact Report, which highlights how they have represented, connected, and supported their members throughout the year.
