# Wenatchee Naturalist - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `wenatcheenaturalist.com` ## Description Wenatchee Naturalist is dedicated to fostering awareness, understanding, and stewardship of the Wenatchee River region through innovative educational programs. Partnering with Wenatchee Valley College, their flagship initiative is a robust 12-week course that immerses participants in the natural world. Class sessions, scheduled for Wednesday evenings, include hands-on activities, field trips, and the opportunity to explore the region’s diverse ecosystems, from hiking among towering Western red cedars to examining river macro-invertebrates. The program not only emphasizes personal connection to nature but also aims to cultivate a community of informed volunteers ready to support local conservation efforts. Participants receive a field journal and creative materials, enhancing their learning experience. The course is designed for a variety of individuals, particularly those over 60, who can enjoy a discount on tuition. Recognized with the 2016 ANROSP Outstanding Volunteer Project award, Wenatchee Naturalist continues to inspire a love of nature and foster environmental stewardship throughout North Central Washington. Join them to discover the wonders of the valley and share your passion for the environment. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idDXU9-_Rk/w/370/h/185/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1788639199702) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Fuscous Gray | #535549 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
