## Description

Wendy The Food Scientist is a dynamic brand dedicated to educating and inspiring individuals to embrace plant-based cooking through a scientific lens. Founded by Wendy, a food scientist and passionate culinary educator, the brand reaches over 600,000 food enthusiasts. Wendy's unique background, rooted in a Cantonese-Vietnamese household in the Netherlands, shaped her belief that food represents memory, identity, and love. With a degree in Food Technology from Wageningen University, she combines her cultural heritage with her expertise in food science to demystify cooking.

The brand offers a wealth of knowledge through the Tofu Mastery Guide, where Wendy teaches her audience how to create traditional dishes using ingredients like tofu, seitan, and fermented staples—all made from scratch. By emphasizing the principles of protein chemistry and fermentation, Wendy transforms plant-based cooking into an intuitive and joyful experience. Her mission is to show that with a little understanding of the science behind cooking, anyone can become an enthusiastic plant-based chef.
