## Description

Wendy Whitman is an author whose crime thrillers draw on decades of experience covering high-profile criminal cases in American television. Before beginning a 20-year career in crime programming, she worked for comedians Lily Tomlin and George Carlin and earned a law degree from Boston University School of Law. As an executive and producer for Court TV and HLN, Whitman developed an insider’s understanding of murder, criminal investigations, and the justice system, which informs her suspenseful fiction.

Her novels include Premonition, a psychological crime thriller following Cary Mackin, a former television journalist whose move to a Connecticut town brings her into the path of a serial killer. Its sequel, Retribution, continues the hunt for the person responsible for the murders and reveals more about the killer known in the media as the “Deer Killer.” Whitman’s books are available in print and audiobook formats, with an audiobook sample offered on her website. The site also features news, events, interviews, media appearances, and blog posts reflecting her interests and perspectives.
