## Description

Narrenzunft Oberstadion e.V., known by its carnival call “Wenk’l Fratza,” is a local cultural association based in Oberstadion. The group celebrates the region’s traditional Swabian-Alemannic carnival customs and brings residents together through seasonal events, parades, music, and community gatherings. Its traditions draw on local legends, including stories of Graf Wilhelm, the Nebelmännle, and Hex Bethe, which are reflected in the guild’s carnival characters and costumes, or Häs.

The association organizes activities such as its annual carnival excavation and customs evening, participation in processions, and other Fasnet celebrations. Its website shares event dates, news, photographs, background on the guild and its costume traditions, and the lyrics of the local Schtäamer Narramarsch. It also provides information about leadership, membership-related matters, and participation requirements, including guidance for minors attending events and parades. A supporting association, Förderverein Narrenzunft Oberstadion e.V., is also referenced. Through its events and storytelling, the guild helps preserve local heritage while offering opportunities for the community to celebrate together.
