## Description

Werribee Craft Festival is a not-for-profit community organisation that has celebrated handmade creativity and supported the Wyndham community for nearly five decades. Founded in 1978, the annual festival provides local craftspeople with an opportunity to display and sell carefully made, high-quality goods. Its stalls feature a variety of handcrafted items, attracting visitors from across Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate.

The festival takes place at Encore Events Centre in Hoppers Crossing, on the weekend after the Melbourne Cup. The 2026 event is scheduled for 6–7 November, with evening and daytime opening hours, and free entry. Visitors can also enjoy Devonshire tea, free children’s craft activities and face painting, roaming characters, and the chance to take their own photo with Santa at no cost.

Organised by a small volunteer committee, the festival selects a Wyndham community group to support each year. It has previously assisted organisations including Wyndham Hearts in Hands, local emergency services and community support groups.
