## Description

West End Slo-pitch Association (WESA) is an all-gender, inclusive Pride softball league based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 1978, WESA has built a community around slo-pitch, welcoming people to take part in sport and connect through shared experiences. The association offers a seasonal league with teams, schedules, standings, scores, rules of play, player inclusion guidance, and resources for orientation and team management. It also supports the game through skills development, assessments, coaching, scorekeeping, equipment information, and field-location details.

Beyond league play, WESA organizes social and community events, including WESA Softball Socials, a pageant, the Big Gay BBQ, and the WESA Athletics VIP Mixer. Its calendar and events schedule help members stay informed, while news, newsletters, awards, and Hall of Fame features celebrate the association and its community. WESA also provides volunteer opportunities and shares information about its governance, committees, policies, and affiliations. With a long history and a focus on belonging, WESA brings people together through inclusive softball and community activities.
