## Description

WestFest is Glasgow’s cultural and community festival, bringing events and activities to the city’s West End each June. The festival aims to capture the imagination of participants, local residents and visitors, offering a varied programme that encourages people to explore and take part in community life. WestFest 2026 runs from 1 to 28 June, with featured events including The Big Sunday on Kelvin Way and the WestFest Midsummer Solstice Fire Show. Its website helps audiences discover events through searchable listings and calendar views, with information about dates, times and venues. WestFest also invites individuals and groups to participate by submitting events. Although submissions for the 2026 printed brochure have closed, later entries can still be published as web listings and promoted across the festival’s digital platforms. The organisation provides opportunities to advertise and offers festival information, contact details and logos through its site. Beyond the June programme, its calendar also highlights events such as Dementia Hour sessions with SAMH at Partick Library, helping visitors find activities across Glasgow.
