## Description

The Westminster Kennel Club, established in 1877, is America’s oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to the sport of dogs. Best known for its annual Westminster Dog Show, the Club brings together dog enthusiasts, exhibitors, breed clubs, and spectators for competitions and educational activities. Its events include conformation judging, Masters Agility, Masters Obedience, Junior Showmanship, field trials, and Flyball, with results presented by breed and group as well as Best in Show. Westminster Week information helps visitors plan attendance, including ticket purchases, venue details, hotel guidance, and exhibitor resources. The Club also offers online video, event schedules, photos, digital programs, and historical records covering its people and competitions. Visitors can explore dog-show guidance, a breed finder, news, and a blog, or sign up for the Westminster Kennel Club Insider newsletter for community content and event updates. Commemorative books and other event-related materials are available through its shop. Through Westminster Cares, breed rescue awards, and its wider community outreach, the Club supports connections among people who share an interest in dogs.
