West Nidaros Lutheran Church in Crooks, SD is a vibrant congregation dedicated to Sharing Christ's Love With All. As a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we embrace the Christian beliefs that have stood the test of time: the Trinity, the resurrection, salvation through Christ alone, and the Apostles' Creed. Since its humble beginning in a sod house in 1868, West Nidaros has grown to become a central pillar of the community.

We offer a range of ministries and missions, engaging youth activities and education, uplifting music, warm fellowship, and more. Our calendar is filled with regular Sunday worship services, as well as special services during Lent, Holy Week, and Christmas. Families are an integral part of our church, and we provide Sunday School classes for children aged 3 to high school.

Our facilities include the stunning Heritage Dining Room, Sanctuary, Bell Tower, Family Life Center, Kitchen, and Library.
