## Description

WE Team is a registered Australian not-for-profit organization established in 2011 to help make education accessible to disadvantaged children in Nepal. Its 30 active members support students from remote and regional communities through a $10-per-month contribution program. The organization currently assists 13 children in government schools across several districts, from Grade 2 to Grade 12.

Support is provided for practical education-related needs, including stationery, uniforms, school fees and snacks, as well as a small annual contribution during each child’s festival. Rather than giving cash directly to families, WE Team arranges for a nominated member or their family and friends to purchase supplies and pay fees, helping ensure funds are used for the children’s needs.

WE Team’s mission also includes advocating for girls’ education, helping children overcome financial and social barriers to schooling, and collaborating with organizations with similar aims. Its activities have included support for school libraries and earthquake-affected children, alongside fundraising events and other community initiatives.
