## Description

We Want Plates is a dynamic movement with a mission to challenge the trend of serving food in unconventional and often absurd vessels. Founded by Ross McGinnes, it has amassed a following of over one million enthusiasts on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit. The brand humorously critiques the culinary world's fascination with serving dishes on items such as wooden boards, slate, and even household objects, emphasizing the importance of food being presented on traditional plates.

The heart of We Want Plates is its satirical approach to modern dining experiences, showcasing a variety of ridiculous culinary presentations, including soup served in a stiletto and desserts in inappropriate containers, eliciting laughter and disbelief. The brand extends its reach beyond social media with the publication of a book that encapsulates its ethos. Through this playful commentary on food presentation, We Want Plates advocates for a return to simpler, more classic dining aesthetics where the plate reigns supreme.
