Wexford Creek Family Farms is a family-run farm and Australian Shepherd breeding operation based on 117 acres in the rolling bluffs of northeast Iowa. The Conway family has raised registered, health-tested Australian Shepherds since 2012, alongside caring for cattle, chickens, and their children. The farm’s breeding program prioritizes quality over quantity, with dogs treated as family members and raised as part of everyday farm life rather than in a large kennel.

The owner is a state-licensed veterinary technician. Breeding dogs receive OFA hip and elbow evaluations and genetic screening for breed-specific conditions, as well as routine vaccinations, parasite prevention, deworming, and quality food. Puppies are born in the home, handled daily by adults and children, and socialized from an early age. Available puppies come with a puppy kit, veterinary records, microchipping, a health guarantee, copies of parental health testing, and applicable spay/neuter or breeding contracts. Wexford Creek puppies have gone on to ranch and livestock work, sports, obedience, 4-H, service-dog training, and family companionship.
