## Description

The Wildland Firefighter Foundation, based in Boise, Idaho, USA, is dedicated to supporting the wildland firefighting community. With a mission to provide the best care and support possible, they offer a range of programs and services. One of their initiatives is the Family Fire Weekend, where people come together to honor fallen firefighters, support the injured, and find solace in healing. They also have an online memorial, The Fallen, which pays tribute to those who have lost their lives while battling wildfires. Additionally, the Interagency Wildland Firefighter Monument recognizes the endeavors and outcomes of the wildland fire community. The foundation is committed to mental health and offers resources for self-help, including downloadable reading material and presentations. They also provide reference material lists to connect families and loved ones of fallen firefighters with specialized organizations. To raise funds for their important work, the Wildland Firefighter Foundation organizes events like the 52 Club Fundraisers. They even have an engaging video series, Warriors of the West, that offers an insider look into the lives of wildland firefighters. By supporting the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, you are contributing to the well-being and support of these brave individuals who risk their lives to protect our communities.
