The World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) is a global community of social enterprises that fully practice Fair Trade. As the verifiers of social enterprises, WFTO ensures that its members prioritize the interests of workers, farmers, and artisans. Spread across 76 countries, WFTO exists to serve marginalized communities.

To become a WFTO member, enterprises must demonstrate that they put people and the planet first in all their operations. WFTO focuses on both social enterprise and Fair Trade, with its Guarantee System being the only international verification model that prioritizes workers, farmers, and artisans. WFTO members are mission-led enterprises that actively practice the 10 Principles of Fair Trade.

Once verified, these members can freely use the WFTO Guaranteed Fair Trade product label. The impact of Fair Trade Enterprises is significant, supporting a total of 965,700 livelihoods, with women comprising 74% of the workforce and leadership roles. WFTO supports these enterprises through various initiatives and projects, including upcycling, refugee livelihoods, and women's leadership.
