(WGfF) is a dedicated organization focused on genealogy in the Rhineland region, offering invaluable resources for family history research. One of its most notable projects is the extensive database of deceased person's cards, known as Totenzettel-Sammlungen. This collection features over 692,729 entries, with records dating back to 1582, making it a critical resource for genealogists and historians alike. Under the project leadership of Michael Brammertz, the database has been crafted from various collections submitted by volunteers who meticulously transcribe these cards. The database is continuously updated, allowing users to conduct searches without needing an account. Additionally, the WGfF invites individuals interested in genealogical research to contribute by becoming transcribers, thus enriching the collection further. Membership in the WGfF not only supports this initiative but also offers potential tax benefits, as the organization operates for charitable purposes. The WGfF is committed to preserving family histories and fostering a community of family researchers in the region. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Public Records and Directories _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idPhg1t5VW/w/111/h/111/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1780325321930) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Camarone | #005e00 | accent | | Japanese Laurel | #008000 | dark | | Marzipan | #f8d89c | light | ## Fonts - Calibri — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
