## Description

Whaling City Youth Football League is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit based in New London, Connecticut. Founded in 2025, the league helps young people develop through American football in a safe, structured, and supportive setting. Its mission focuses on discipline, dedication, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community values, encouraging participants to build skills and character both on and off the field. The football program serves children ages 5 to 14 who are not entering high school, and offers registration by age group and preferred position. Families can also enroll children in the youth cheer program, which emphasizes confidence, teamwork, and spirit. The league welcomes prospective coaches through a coaching program and provides registration materials, a code of conduct, and concussion-safety documentation. Supporters and players can shop official merchandise, including team jerseys, caps, hoodies, and training gear. The organization also shares team photos and video highlights, and provides contact details and forms to help families get involved. Its programs bring young athletes and the local community together through sport.
