## Description

What a Wonderful World is a climate and biodiversity festival in Northumberland that uses the arts, sciences and the natural world to build understanding of the climate emergency and nature loss. Its activities bring communities together to explore environmental issues through creative experiences, learning and practical action. The festival presents events such as talks, discussions, film screenings, concerts, poetry readings and workshops, often featuring artists, scientists, local organisations and community members. Topics range from climate-focused music and writing to energy-efficient homes, renewable energy, sustainable transport, wildlife conservation and the ecology of local landscapes. The programme also includes opportunities for people to share their own creative work and take part in hands-on activities. Beyond its annual festival, What a Wonderful World publishes information about ways to act for the planet, shares event galleries and press coverage, and invites people to stay informed through social media and its mailing list. By connecting creative expression with scientific insight and local initiatives, the organisation encourages audiences to understand environmental challenges and imagine a more sustainable future.
