## Description

The What Is Finology? Project is an educational initiative exploring money, its meaning in human lives, and the ways people relate to it. It defines Finology as the study of how people exchange value and how money shapes minds, customs, behaviors, and relationships. Inspired by the work of financial planner Richard “Dick” Wagner, the project aims to encourage healthier relationships with money and a broader understanding of its influence on society and culture.

The project shares its ideas through podcasts, articles, videos, forums, and events, featuring conversations with members of the CFP® profession and other contributors. Its topics include financial psychology, behavioral finance, life planning, and the cultural impact of financial planning. The site also presents Financial Planning 3.0, an approach focused on how financial planning and its professionals can affect society. Visitors can explore the Money Mind Bender$ archive, read Finology Fellows’ writings, learn about the project team, and find ways to participate, including through Patreon and community forums.
