## Description

Wheatfen Forest School is a Forest School Provider serving Norwich & South Norfolk, with its main location and inspiration stemming from Wheatfen Broad in Surlingham. Established by Rose Hoare in 2015, the school is rooted in the legacy of Ted Ellis and his wife, Phyllis Ellis, who dedicated their lives to natural history and conservation. Wheatfen Broad, home to Wheatfen Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, is where the school aims to inspire a new generation of naturalists and conservationists. As a community interest company, Wheatfen Forest School CIC operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise, focusing on environmental education and conservation. Through a range of programs like Tiny Acorns, Saturday Forest School, and Youth Conservation Events, Wheatfen Forest School provides a hands-on learning experience in a stunning wilderness setting, ensuring the preservation of the rich ecology for future generations. Join us in exploring, learning, and conserving nature!
