## Description

The Wheatland Athletic Foundation (WAF) is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization supporting the Wheatland Union High School football program in Northern California. Its mission is to positively support, promote, and enhance the Pirate Football experience for student-athletes, coaches, and families. The foundation provides moral and financial support to help players and coaches pursue academic and athletic excellence, reflecting its commitment to the broader development of students as well as the success of the program.

WAF offers ways for community members to contribute through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer opportunities. Its activities also include a fireworks stand and scholarships, helping raise support for the football program and students. The foundation shares information about the team through its “Meet the Pirates” feature and videos, while its website provides access to donation and sponsorship opportunities. By bringing together families, volunteers, and supporters, WAF works to strengthen the experience of Wheatland Union High School football and the community around it.
