Our museum, located in Wheeling Park District's Chamber Park, houses a collection of significant artifacts and documents that tell the story of Wheeling's past.

We are dedicated to preserving and sharing this knowledge through educational and recreational activities that promote pride in our community heritage. Wheeling is renowned for its Restaurant Row, which started as a string of inns, taverns, and eateries for weary travelers. The fertile soil also led to the development of landscaping nurseries, and later, the growth of Metro Chicago brought manufacturing plants and residential neighborhoods to Wheeling.
