## Description

Wheel of Names is a free online tool for choosing random outcomes with a customizable spinning wheel. Designed for teachers, businesses, event organizers, streamers, and everyday users, it can select a student to answer a question, choose a raffle winner, decide who speaks first, or help a group settle on an activity. Users enter names or other options, spin the wheel, and receive a randomly selected result.

The service offers extensive customization, including colors, sounds, spin duration, background images, and a logo at the wheel’s center. Users can manage multiple wheels, assign different weights to entries, and share wheels through short links. Wheels can be saved in the cloud or locally, and lists can be imported from Google Sheets. The tool supports large groups and is available in 65 languages. Its wheel uses browser-based cryptographic randomness within a physics simulation, and users can test outcomes with 10,000 spins. Wheel of Names also provides a library of licensed music and sound effects, image search through Unsplash, and browser-source compatibility for OBS and Streamlabs. The website is supported by advertising and offers controls to close ads during a session.
