## Description

Wheels for Wellbeing is an award-winning charity that is passionately committed to supporting disabled people of all ages and abilities in experiencing the joys of cycling. As a registered charity since 2007, they have successfully worked with thousands of disabled children and adults, removing barriers and empowering them to participate in physical activities. With a strong focus on inclusivity, their mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of age or impairment, can access the physical, emotional, practical, and social benefits of cycling. Their vision is to see more disabled people in the UK cycling for everyday journeys, with inclusive and accessible cycle routes throughout the country. By following a person-centered approach based on the Social Model of Disability, Wheels for Wellbeing works tirelessly to dismantle any barriers that prevent individuals from cycling. Through their direct support programs, the charity helps over 1000 disabled people each year, offering cycling sessions, outreach programs, and expert advice on cycle infrastructure. By promoting positive perceptions of disability and cyclists, and by advocating for better policies and standards, Wheels for Wellbeing aims to transform attitudes towards disability and create a healthier population.
