Founded by Omari Salisbury and Erik Kalligraphy, both natives of Seattle's Central District, Converge Media is committed to authentic representation, focusing on community issues and providing equitable access to elected officials and governmental information. One of their primary objectives is to amplify the voices and perspectives of independent African-American creators throughout the region. With an engaged audience, Converge Media serves as a vital platform for these creators to share their stories. The team at Converge Media includes Chief Operating Officer Cindi Bright, Head of Programming & Creative Director Erik Wilson, Digital and Communications Manager Besa Gordon, live show director Curtis Delgardo II, writer and producer Ike Everard, Head of Production Alaia D’Alessandro, lead editor Brady McAtee, and community advocate Keith “G. Prez” Asphy. Converge Media is dedicated to supporting independent Black media and providing a space for underrepresented voices to be heard.
